     The HTM library media center is an active place. Because we share the library with HT Elementary, there are always children of various ages and sizes checking out all day long.

     In addition, Mrs. Powers spends a lot of time in middle school classrooms. She works with HTM's Language Arts staff and Literacy Coach to help teach our students everything from poetry and fairy tales to research and reference.

Parents are always welcome to visit the media center, and we love volunteers, too. If you have any questions about books or the library or if you're interested in volunteering, please e-mail Mrs. Powers at lpowers@laurens55.k12.sc.us.
