We hope everyone had a safe and fun summer!  The school year is off to a fast start, we are already past the mid-point in our first nine weeks period.  We had progress reports go out in early September and our first report card period ends on October 18th, with parent conferences are scheduled for October 21st.   We hope every parent will be able to meet with their students’ teacher or teachers.  The middle school years are a time of change from childhood to adolescents.  Middle School is a time of growth in peer relationships, managing their time (and priorities) as well as academic demands for our students.  These changes can distract and "stress out" students  keeping them from getting the most from their time in middle school.  We feel that having a strong parent teacher connection can help students navigate this dynamic time in their lives successfully.

    Teachers have times during the day that they are able to meet with parents I have listed below the times for our teachers for this school year (2011-2012) below.  Please plan to give the teacher a weeks notice prior to a meeting; many teachers have other meetings or duties that take up there "planning periods".  The best way to contact your students’ teacher is by email.  I have also listed below the email addresses for our teachers:
