Title I Funding
Hickory Tavern Elementary School qualifies as a school-wide Title I school. This means the school receives services and materials in addition to what is provided by the school district. Title I funds are provided through the federal government. During
the spring of last year, the school staff and the School Improvement Council reviewed the needs of the school. These needs were brought to our attention by those of
you who provided suggestions for school improvement on the parent involvement evaluations that were sent home last spring. After reviewing
this information, recommendations for serving our students through
the use of these Title I Funds were made.
This year, our school will benefit from the following resources.
1. Computer Lab Assistant
2. Parenting Materials
3. Instructional Materials and Supplies
