Mr. Neil graduated from Furman University with a degree in Music Education. While at Furman, Mr. Neil served as principal second violin and assistant concertmaster in the Furman Symphony Orchestra.
This is Mr. Neil’s fourth year teaching strings in Laurens County School District 55. However, Mr. Neil has been teaching violin, viola, and piano at the Carolina Conservatory for Music and the Arts since 2005.
Among his most notable performances include performing with the National Symphony Orchestra in 2002 and performing at the Canadian Embassy. Currently, Mr. Neil serves as the concertmaster of the Carolina Pops Orchestra and section member of the Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
