Grading Policy

Grading will be based on attendance, playing exams, written tests and assignments, prompt return of documents, practice journals and punctuality to rehearsals and performances.  The grading scale found in the student’s agenda will be followed.

Playing Tests                                                                                                    40%

Since orchestra is a performance-oriented learning experience, all rehearsals and performances are mandatory.

Missed Work/Make-up Policy:

It is the responsibility of the student to ask for missed assignments after an absence.  All work will be made up in a timely manner and all missed tests will be made up as soon as possible.
