Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide healthy school meals daily to all students of Laurens District 55 that are appealing to their taste as well as nutritious, regardless of age, race, economic status, or special needs,. Also, we strive to provide nutrition education to show the importance of healthy school meals to education and allow the students to form good eating habits that can benefit them for a lifetime. Nutrition is essential for effective learning everyday. Our goal is to provide proper nutrition to the students of Laurens District 55 so they can learn, play, grow, and develop.
Meal Prices for the 2007-2008 School Year
Lunch
Students paying full price for their meal in grades K-12 will be $1.50 daily.
Students paying the reduced price will be 40 cents daily.
Students may pay in advance up to one year. The money will be deposited into the student's account and when they come through the cafeteria line their account will be debited..
Breakfast
Students for grades K-12 will be at no cost.
