a life-long reader and learner.  I spend all of the free time I can reading.  Adolescent literature, children"s books, professional literature, and picture books are the typical choices I reach for from the shelves in the library or at home.

 

I have worked exclusively in District 55 for 27 years, and I feel fortunate to have done so.  District 55 is a progressive and far-sighted district that focuses on professional development that will benefit classroom instruction. 

 

I attended South Carolina Reading Initiative for four years.  This experience allowed me to visit many schools throughout the state and network with other coaches to share ideas and reading strategies.

 

I have a wonderful husband, two beautiful and talented adult children, and a charming daughter-in-law.
