 Kaleidoscope of the Arts in Laurens 55 |
Kaleidoscope of the Arts in Laurens 55 is a District #55 event, in collabration with downtown merchants. First held in 2007, the Kaleidoscope Festival replaces the bi-annual Student Art Shows that had been held in the Exchange Building, at the Laurens County Fairgrounds, for many years. The Kaleidoscope Festival provides an opportunity for the Related Arts programs, from all 11 district schools, to showcase student artwork, vocal and instrumental music performances and current PE iniatives. This event has been expanded to a week of various activities, at locations throughout the city of Laurens. Art displays, from each school, will be hung in windows of businesses on the Square, throughout the week. A more detailed schedule will be posted as it becomes available. |
