Congratulations to our Terrific Kids--Amy for the first nine weeks and Bryce for the second nine weeks. Bryce is pictured with Mr. Joe Kirby from State Farm Insurance.
Several of our students performed a Readers Theater at Family Literacy Night in February. They did a wonderful job...we'll probably see them in Hollywood in the future!

Presbyterian basketball player Ryan Hargrove read aloud Salt in His Shoes to our class. He also told us about the importance of working and studying hard in school so we can grow up to be whatever we want when we're older!
Students celebrated Red Ribbon Week the last week of October. Below, Mrs. Parks and Avonna "Give Drugs the Boot" by wearing their boots! These students show they are "Following Their Dreams by Saying No to Drugs" by wearing their bedroom slippers!
Even teachers like a little fun! The third grade teachers dressed up for the PTO Fall Festival on October 28. Good thing Mrs. Taylor was there to separate these two!
