Hello! My name is Cleo Browne. I have been teaching at Hickory Tavern Elementary for many years now.
I was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. I attended Washburn University one year and then transferred to Kansas State University and completed my degree. GO WILDCATS! My major was Early Childhood Education. I completed my Master's Degree in Education from Lander University in August of 2002. Since then I have become certified in Elementary Education, in addition to my certification in Early Childhood Education.
I have two married daughters and my older daughter has two girls and had a baby boy in January of 2012. I enjoy traveling to visit each of my daughters and their families. Each of my daughters attended Hickory Tavern Elementary.
I am proud to tell people that I teach at Hickory Tavern because it is such a great school.
